Bookmarklets are URL's with URI type "javascript", inserted in a JavaScript enabled browser's bookmarks, which can perform some actions with info of the current page, currently selected text, or text entered as input. Many bookmarklets can be found at: bookmarklets.com.
Currently I know about the following web browsers which support bookmarklets: Netscape Navigator/Communicator versions 3.0/4.0/5.0/6.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0/5.0, Mozilla 5.0, and Galeon. If you know about any others I didn't mention here, please see my contact information and tell me.
I've written a few short bookmarklets which were useful to me and I didn't find anywhere else. To put any of those bookmarklets in your browser, add the links to your bookmarks. In some browsers it's performed by right clicking the link, and choosing "add to bookmarks" or something similar to that. Some browsers will just let you drag the link to your bookmark folder/toolbar. The initial name of the bookmarklet might be the URL of the bookmark in some cases on some web browsers, in such a case, just rename it.
